Services were held Tuesday, March 4 at First Presbyterian Church in Lexington at 2 p.m. He was preceded in death by wife Marion Standifer Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a retired insurance agent for Farm Bureau Insurance and was a member of the Million Dollar Club. He was born and raised in Lex- ington and was a Sgt. in U.S. Armyduring World War II and served in thePhillipines. He served on HolmesCounty Draft Board and received spe-cial recognition from the President ofthe United States. He was a member ofAmerican Legion Post #29 and was amember of the First PresbyterianChurch of Lexington. Survivors include: one daughter,Services were Sunday, February 23 at2:00 p.m at Mr. CaLvary MissionaryChurch in Tchula. Rev. Clayton Snowofficiated. Mr. Winston was the son of John andEthel Winston of Tchula. He attendedS.V. Marshall where he graduated in1980. After graduation he enlisted inthe U.S. Army.
