Thing is, nobody has patience anymore. I remember how many gooner fans used to demand Arteta get fired. The same amount will be calling for Ange’s head, it’s just how it is,

Exactly right - Arteta prob would have been sacked if it wasn't for the fa cup. (They finished 8th and then 6th was it?) Everyone needs to calm down and give this one some time.
Would people have been complaining had we scored 3 in the first half and been home and hosed? No.
Ange can't control the finishing on the pitch - we created plenty to win the game.

Football has gone way to soft. A GK cannot yell at his teammates.

You mustn't be so hard on the youngsters. And don't Yell at them, you may just hurt there feelings.

I can image, The Likes of Gazza would have been banished to the ends of the earth.

Vic done nothing wrong but he wouldn’t do it to Romero or VDV. That’s my only issue with it. We have a team that don’t dig each other out. f*cking puss*es at times. Guys like Udogie and Johnson need a f*cking blasting from a team mate to get them going. It might actually help. Dead lice falling off them tonight.

Let's see how we are doing after 4 games before we have a full on meltdown. 8 points would be a good return and that's still possible.

Rights of passage. If you just let young kids walk into the game without understanding that they need to be accountable for mistakes then you are failing them as their teammate

So what about the players who aren't kids. Shouldn't they also (more so) 'need to be accountable for mistakes'? Bergvall didn't come on the pitch until the 78th minute. Where was Vicario's anger and antics before that?

The issue isn't him screaming at the kid but have the same energy for your other players when they f*ck up, I didn't see him going mad at Romero for his lax defending on the goal, for me it's just taking out your frustration on someone because he's a newbie and he's young.

I didn't really think much of it. Keepers are known for yelling at their own teammates all the time.

It was a pretty bad error as well, he dribbled right into 2 defenders and lost the ball. I can see why he was frustrated.

Most likely they were all young players once and had to learn the same thing about how to deal with senior pros shouting at them.

If their teammates molly coddle these kids then it’s only letting them down later on

Why is it considered OK for the goalkeeper to behave like an utter co*ck to a team-mate like that? Any outfield player would get pilloried for it.

It’s all bloody sham “look at me” theatrics too.

Vic is in no position to go mouthing off when he was weak at corners last season. Gave away two goals in pre season. Why didn’t he give cuti a mouthful for the goal?

You don’t think any senior pros screamed at Romero when he was a young player?

Why are you looking for fairness in elite Sport anyway?

The quicker Odobert is starting the better. Someone with bollocks on the wing who will constantly take it to the opponent.

See how that kid does, but yeah we gotta start thinking about life after Sonny...even while he's still here. Should really only start if/when we play 2 up front. He can no longer do it as a LW.

Starks said:

Get Bergvall in the stating eleven against Everton. Please.

Sarr has been bang average for a long time. Bergvall showed more than he & Roddy combined in the 15 mins he got. Gray was good too. But really, shouldn't have to rely on kids to up our game...says a lot about the club's true ambitions...

Did you see Vicario have a go at Romero for his defending because that was way worse than what Bergvall did?

For the best CB in the world, Romero is a bit inconsistent isn't he.

Ange continually said we need to upgrade our forwards. We got the English Richarlison and a 19yo kid.

And resigned Timo based on who’s say so?

thing is we talk about dominance but we don't shoot, a lot of nice passing with the Leicester defence in front of us, but did we test their keeper tonight?

no.

Eureka!!

Knew it would dawn on me

Potecoglou laid a bet we would match Real Madrid's first game result.

Apparently Postecoglou has won a trip around Fantasy Island.

I find Ange very frustrating tbh, though the football is fun for the odd 25 minute stretch.

Elite at playing Mr Nice Guy.

Bang average PL manager. But give him the best squad in the Greek or Turkish league and he'll win it all.

And Sarr. He had a breakthrough last season. I hope he's not stagnating this season because all his clever runs are gone. We have a few more youngsters waiting to breakthrough anyway, so he better maintain his high level before finding more time on the bench.

Unless we send them out on loan ? Ange should have played some of them last season but he didn’t. Can’t imagine him playing Alfie or young will.
