In the first scene of the most current episode, Jaune Arc, who was in the process of falling, spots Crescent Rose and walks toward it. The next thing we see is Jaune ascending one of the coasts at Jungle Acre while simultaneously pondering his current location.

He continues to cut at some of the vines before reaching a tree that, like the others, has a ticking timepiece. Later in the episode, as Jaune is seen removing the stopwatch from the tree, he realizes that time has begun to advance backward. As a result, Jaune begins to panic and scramble to figure out how to stop the watch.

However, in the end, Jaune succeeds in destroying the watch with a Crocea Mors. Jaune is currently pondering whether he will ever be reunited with the other RWBY members when, after some time, he glances up into the sky and sees two blue light shafts falling from the sky.

Jaune is a little concerned about this, so he questions Team RWBY regarding the blue beam. They soothe him and give him a hug. At this point, Jaune is being grilled by the RWBY team about what actually transpired during the collapse of Atlas. After which, Jaune tells the entire tale, which was of course omitted for our benefit.

The RBWY members and Jaune then leave the garden and walk into Field Acre. Once they get there, RWBY begins to talk about what Jaune informed them, but Jaune is agitated because he thinks they should seek shelter right away before the weather worsens.

Jaune replies that they are traveling in the direction of the region where his village is located when RWBY members inquire about their destination later on in the chapter. Jaune is also pondering how the group escaped the Crimson Castle and considering how they may have done so on their own.

Jaune feels a little sorry when Blake later reveals that they did help and showed concern for the curious cat’s welfare, but the group exchanges looks before the curious cat unexpectedly appears. The cat expressed her regret to Juane, welcomed him, and made every effort to mend fences.
